Jeff Ovens

Jeff Ovens is currently Chief Operating Officer at SAF One – a Sustainable Aviation Fuel project developer and investor, based in Dubai UAE. An engineer by background, Jeff has been involved in sustainable aviation fuels since 2010, with tenures at airlines, SAF producers and aero engine companies. He has test flown SAF on several occasion, using novel fuel sources and production pathways and was responsible for the worlds first SAF investment by an Airline, in 2013, Jeff recently held the position of Managing Director within a US based SAF company, leading their SAF development in the UK and internationally. Now based in Dubai, Jeff leads a team of skilled development professionals, and is currently developing a pipeline of projects in multiple jurisdictions globally.
