Bahrain International Airshow Preview

Bahrain International Airshow has announced its aircraft listings and conference programme for its 2024 instalment.

Taking place 13-15 November 2024, the Bahrain International Airshow is held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and under the supervision of His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King and the Chairman of BIAS’ Supreme Organising Committee.

Aircraft display:

Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) flying display is one of the most renowned in the industry. Every afternoon of the event the skies above Sakhir Airbase will be full of the industry’s leading technology, innovation and engineering feats.

Over 80 different types of aircraft will be showcased on the runway, providing visitors the opportunity to experience them close up, before a curated flying display of assets and aerobatic teams takes to the sky to demonstrate the latest innovations and technologies in the industry.

Plus, three established flying clubs will be taking part in the display, bringing over 35 exciting aircraft between them.

Conference speakers:

Following the success of the conference programme at the 2022 instalment, this year’s Bahrain International Airshow will yet again bring a plethora of international thought leaders, industry experts and specialists onto two stages to discuss four key themes across two days: Airlines & Airports, Space, Defence, and Diversity & Inclusion and STEM workshops.

Topics will include sustainability and technological innovation, advancements around SAF emerging in the EMEA region, demand for investment in infrastructure, international collaboration for sustainable space operations such as active debris removal, commercial space launches in the Middle East, accelerating gender equality in the sector and the contribution to future workforce challenges.

The airshow is readying to welcome leaders across the aerospace and defence industries across 40 luxury chalets, 10,000sqm exhibition hall and 86,000sqm static aircraft display, including exhibitors such as Lockheed Martin, Rolls-Royce, Thales, Gulf Air, BAE System, Leonardo, DHL, Indra Spain, Otokar, Defence Technology Equipment and UAE Tawazan.
