Are tickets for the Aerospace Festival Family Area still available?

Tickets for the Aerospace Festival Family Area are now completely sold out. Only those with a valid Family Area pass will be allowed entry to the show. If you do not have a valid ticket, you will not be able to travel to the show site from the Bahrain International Circuit.

Can I buy tickets at the show site?

No, tickets are now sold out and are no longer available.

How much do tickets cost?

Adult tickets are 5 BD for anyone aged 16 or over.
Children under the age of 16 enter for free.

Will I be able to print my pass at the show site?

Important: You must pre-print your pass in order to gain access to Sakhir Airbase. If you do not print your pass, you may be refused entry at the gate.

For how long is my ticket valid?

Guest/ Visitor tickets are valid or one day only and are date specific.

What is the difference between family and trade tickets?

Family area:
-Is open to everyone.
-There are activities for children, food and entertainment.
-You can view the flying display from the grandstand.
-Tickets are 5BD for anyone aged 16 or over, under 16s enter for free. Family show timings are 10.00-18.00.
Trade area:
-Is open to trade professionals and businesses.
-The static aircrafts are in the Trade area only.
-Tickets are 10BD or 30USD and only those aged 16 and over can enter the trade area. -Trade show timings are 9.00-17.00.

Can I trade my family area tickets for a trade area ticket?

No, tickets are only valid for the family area. Trade tickets are reserved for business trade visitors.

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

No, unfortunately, refunds are not available on family area tickets.

What time is the airshow open to the public?

Visitors can attend the airshow everyday between 13-15 November from 10:00 to 18:00.

What time is the flying display?

The flying display is daily between 13.00-16.30. Full details of the flying display taking place each day can be found here: Flying & Static Display.

What should I do if I become separated from my child or vulnerable adult?

Any lost children or vulnerable adults will be taken to the information point. If a child is lost then the adult should report to the information point, organisers office or locate any of the show staff/ police/ volunteers. The show staff / police/ volunteer will call the emergency number located on the child’s wristband provided at the entrance to reunite the adult and child.

Can I take pictures/ videos at the show?

Photographic equipment is allowed solely for private and domestic purposes. All other recording and transmission is prohibited. As a condition of entry to the Airshow you assign the Organiser (by way of a present assignment of future copyright) the copyright in any photographs or recording you make at the Airshow.
*PLEASE NOTE: The Organiser’s official photographers take photographs and video recordings of attendees during the Airshow and may use these for marketing purposes.

Can I bring and fly my own drone to take photographs or video at the show?

No. Any use of unmanned aerial systems or drones for photography or videography is strictly prohibited, unless arranged by the Organiser.

Will the show still go ahead if it rains?

The show will go ahead regardless of the weather. The Organiser reserve the right to cancel or amend all or part of the Flying Display if faced with adverse weather conditions.

Are there any covered/ shaded areas for protection from the sun or rain?

Yes, some areas are covered/shaded.

Do you offer reserved seating?

No reserved seating is available. Seating areas are unreserved on a first come first served basis.

Can I smoke at the Airshow?

Smoking is permitted outside but not airside or near aircrafts.

What gate can I use to enter the airshow?

Family/Public area entrance and parking is via the BIC . Please see the location of this on this map.

What options are available for food & drink?

Food and drink facilities will be available across the show site. All catering facilities have seating available.

Can I bring my own food & drink?

Visitors can bring their own food and drink on to the site. Please ensure that you do not bring any sharp items e.g. knifes/ corkscrews as these will be confiscated at the gate.

Is there drinking water available?

There will be multiple free drinking water stations throughout the site.

Is there a shuttle bus service?

There is a free car park for visitors situated at the BIC with a free shuttle bus to the public area.

Is there a taxi rank at the show?

Yes, licensed taxis can drop off at Gate BIC. There will be a free shuttle bus that will take you from the drop off point to the show entrance. If you call a taxi for your return journey, please let them know to collect you from Gate BIC.

Is there parking available on site?

There is a free car park for visitors situated at the BIC with a free shuttle bus to the public area.

Are there toilet facilities?

Yes, there are many toilet facilities across the show site.

Is there free Wi-Fi?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available within the family area

Are there baby changing facilities on site?

Yes, there a limited number of baby changing facilities. Click this location map to see where they are. Please note that whilst these facilities are available, we advise that the environment is not suitable for infants due to the loud flying displays.

Is there an information point?

Yes, there is an information point available near the site entrance to help with any enquiries. Please see the map to find out where this is located.

Is there a medical centre?

In the event of injury or illness, emergency medical assistance can be found at the Medical Centre on site.
