His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, Minister of Transport and Telecommunications, and Mr. Mark Thomas, CEO of Bapco Energies Group, have formalised a golden sponsorship agreement.
This agreement designates Bapco Energies Group as the exclusive supplier of aviation fuel for the Bahrain International Airshow, showcasing their commitment to advancing the energy sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Airshow is scheduled at the Sakhir Air Base in the Kingdom of Bahrain from 13 – 15 November 2024 to be held under the royal patronage of His Excellency His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Airshow is being coordinated by the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications and the Royal Bahraini Air Force, in partnership with Farnborough International.
On this occasion, His Excellency the Minister commended the efforts of the Bapco Energies Group and the effective support it has provided in sponsoring the Airshow since its inception in 2010. He emphasised the group’s commitment to being one of the leading Bahraini companies supporting a prestigious event like the Bahrain International Airshow.
His Excellency the Minister stated that this pioneering partnership for the supply of aviation fuel will enhance the aviation industry and across all sectors within the Kingdom. This initiative aims to position Bahrain as a prominent and appealing hub for foreign investments, thereby contributing to economic growth and supporting the goals of Economic Vision 2030.
Mr. Mark Thomas, CEO of Bapco Energies Group, expressed that the partnership with the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications, which includes sponsoring the Bahrain International Airshow 2024, reflects Bapco Energies Group’s dedication as a national institution to support the Kingdom of Bahrain’s policies under the esteemed leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
